What is a Psychological Evaluation?

Psychological evaluations are comprehensive assessments designed to better understand an individual's emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and psychological functioning. Depending on the referral question, evaluations may include a clinical interview, review of relevant records, and objective psychological testing when clinically appropriate.
At Comprehensive Psychology Services, all evaluations are personally conducted by Dr. Gregory Van Dam, Psy.D., a licensed psychologist with over 14 years of experience providing psychological assessments throughout Florida and PSYPACT-participating states.
